Subscriptions and billing

Froodie may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase through the Apple App Store. The purchase sheet shown by Apple is the authoritative source for your localized price, tax, trial eligibility, and billing terms.
Free and Premium features
The current free tier includes one lifetime scan, manual pantry updates, recipe discovery, cook mode, shopping lists, and in-app expiry display. Premium unlocks the Premium features described in the app, including the current scan allowance, weekly meal planning, and eligible smart expiry notifications. Product capabilities may change over time.
Free trials
A trial is available only when Apple shows you as eligible before confirmation. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to the displayed paid plan and renews according to Apple’s terms. Froodie cannot override Apple’s eligibility decision.
Renew or cancel
- Open iPhone Settings.
- Tap your Apple Account name.
- Choose Subscriptions.
- Select Froodie.
- Choose the plan or cancellation option Apple displays.
Cancellation stops a future renewal; access generally continues until the paid period ends. Removing the app or deleting your Froodie account does not cancel billing.
Restore purchases
Sign in with the same Froodie account and Apple Account used for the purchase. Open Froodie’s plan or subscription screen and select Restore purchases. If restoration fails, confirm the Apple Account and contact froodie.support@gmail.com with the error message—never send a full receipt or password.
Lifetime purchase
Lifetime is a one-time, non-renewing purchase for Premium access while the Froodie service remains available. It does not guarantee that every feature or third-party service will remain unchanged forever.
